Hey guys, I know this happened around the end of May and everyone has been anticipating this series of blog. But FINALLY!! I'm blogging about my BIND trip to Vietnam. Well, all the Secondary 3 cohort get to visit different countries such as Vietnam, Jogjarkarta and Cambodia.
And I chose Vietnam!! (:
I've 5 parts of the BIND Trip :DD
It was a 5-Day-4-Night trip and let me take you my journey in Vietnam. Let me warn you first that there are numerous and numerous of pictures. (:<
Okay, the journey to Vietnam begins.. now~~
Before going to Vietnam, we had to obviously prepare our stuff such as packing our bags~!

Checked-in the departure gate. Now it's left with waiting for the plane gate to open.
The waiting time for the gates to open is quite long, however, the plane that we have to wait is pretty far from the departure gate too. It took us quite a lot of time to travel there. Yeahh hmm..
Our plane gate was E12, if I'm not wrong.

I was quite anticipating the airplane flight (I have reasons; I haven't sit a plane for around seven years ._.)
Escalators to allow us to pace up our footsteps, basically allow us to move faster.
Well, we went to the toilet first before heading to the plane gate. You know, there's really an ample of time to allow us to walk around. As we were walking to the plane gate, we walked past the toilet so we went to.. yeah (:

Didn't know we have queue up to check our hand bags (like bags that we carry to the plane), before entering the E8 gate. Still had to wait before entering the plane gate.
Luckily, there were seats for us to sit before queueing up again to board the plane.

Well, there's always an introduction video whenever there's a case of an emergency.
Gotta hear it, because it has been years since I board the plane.
Watched BayMax again, reminiscing the contents of the show. XD
Got bored of the show, so I went to check on the songs. Guess what?

Okay, I didn't listen everything throughout the whole plane ride lah, but most of the time - It's Taylor Swift 1989. ^_^
Guess what? My meal arrived earlier than the others *Weww*
However, it was vegetarian meal. Since when did I say I'm vegetarian. I only wrote down I'm allergic to prawns ._. Is it considered under the vegetarian meal category? ;-;
The air stewardess was like "Ms Yan Ms Yan". I changed airplane seat with my airplane seat partner. You know, the meal got state the airplane seat number. But he's a boy, then yeah.. Awkward hmm..
I thought the meal was for Renell (She has the same surname as me). Hmm it's for me.. ._.
Great thing is that I get to have my meal first *Thumbs up*
Meal was very fulling, I love the jelly especially. XD

I really love the clouds in Vietnam, it's so beautiful and fluffyyy and whiteee.
It's way different from the clouds in Singapore.
The airport in Vietnam is extremely quiet and there were very less people there.
According to my Sec 2 English Teacher, the people who are there to pick up the passengers are not allowed to go into the airport. That's why Vietnam airports are usually quiet and peaceful.
I'm serious, the whole airport is basically just our school group and a few passengers who just alighted their flight.

Warm welcome from the people in Vietnam.
When we came out, they were like "Xin Chao Xin Chao" which means 'Hello' in Vietnamese.
Actually, they are waiting for the arrival of the passengers who are alighting at Vietnam, which is why the outside of the Vietnam airport is more lively and hectic than the inside of the airport!

I've realised that there are more motorcycles than cars in Vietnam!

Vietnam has definitely more motorcycles than motorcars. They even have a lane for mainly motorcyclists! Definitely something special about Vietnam.

Bus going to run out of fuel. So.. Time to refuel the bus with petrol yeahh?
There is a station where vehicles can pump their petrol, but there's only one.
Unlike Singapore that has a petrol station where cars or motorcycles can conveniently refuel their vehicles.

You must be annoyed with the caps right? I'm sorry about that, but I'm just too excited and crazy about this.
The scenery of the restaurant is also scenic and beautiful. Haaaa..
Well.. This isn't where we are haven't our lunch.
I meant, not where we're sitting as a group.
We have our own private room for ourselves. (Exceptional to some customers sharing the room with us, because it's air-conditioned)
We decided to head to the rest room first.. You know.. Yeah..

They wrapped it with some other ingredients together with the fish. It tastes delicious!!

It's the evening.
We gathered as a group to prepare for our visit to a secondary school the next day. And also present our presentation.
And guess what? My group was so screwed.. ._.
We had to stay back to complete our presentation. In the end, we did not present psshhh..
I was panicking and my group members there so slack and calm.

It was an amazing experience being on a plane after like so many many years. The meals I had in Vietnam are extremely overwhelming and it has allowed me to gain insights of how Vietnam cuisine actually looked and tasted like.
Well, the first night was pretty rough and terrible for me. I tend to not sleep well on the first nights, I don't know why. I got so scared that I keep tossing and turning, making Nicole unable to sleep. Then the next day, she became all whiny and stuff (Because of the lack of sleep, understandable lah) I'm sorry Nicole ):
This is the end of day 1! Look forward to the next blog post of day 2 as we were heading for a school visit as well as doing mud-fishing (well, some of us are exceptional of this activity :DD)
