DAY 6 : GERRY TRAVELS TO KOREA

Hello readers, so it's day 6 of my trip in Korea. Well, time flew super duper fast and 5 days have flew by in a blink of an eye. This means that I'm left with 3 more days of adventure. 😭 Anyways, I guess day 6 blog post will be a very short but meaningful one, let me take you on day 6's journey alright? 😆

Heading to have our buffet breakfast at, The Kitchen

07:34 AM : My usual routine - cereal HAHAHAHA 🥛

My mum was complaining how I always have cereal every breakfast in Korea 😂

07:38 AM : Okay fine guys, a proper meal. Oh, the difference though 😱

Lao ban said the bacon damn gangster HAHAHAHA

07:50 AM : My mum got this and it tasted pretty good!! 😄

08:02 AM : Just exploring what the breakfast buffet has to offer again 😂

08:24 AM : Heading back to the hotel room.

09:00 AM : It's gonna be a looong bus ride, so I'm gonna sleep hehe 😴

Mum allowed me to buy coffee to drink!! Yay yay yay!! 🙌

It was my first time trying out Angel In-Us Coffee, which can only be found in Korea i guess..? ☕

So why not right? 😋

11:30 AM : Reached our first and last destination of the day. 😂 (you'll know more later)

But first, let's have lunch!!

Lunch for the day : Mushroom Steamboat

Yup, it was a very early lunch because after this we will be walking a lot of rocky roads.

ANYWAYS. let's enjoy lunch before the adventure starts 😎

Fried Ginseng!! Being someone who doesn't really like ginseng, i was surprised that the fried ginseng tasted not bad!!

11:38 AM : While waiting for the fried ginseng to be fried.... Yeah, the statue 😂

12:10 PM : Finished lunch and time to head for some adventure!! 🙌

12:12 PM (AY!! HAHAHA) : This way to the cable car everyone!!

It's a hint to where we're heading to hehe 😛

12:16 PM : Just 70 meters more, press on!! 💪

12:20 PM : Another uphill before reaching!!

12:24 PM : Excited to board the cable car!!

12:26 PM : Okay time to reveal where we are heading to HAHAHAHA 🌚

So we are taking the cable car to Mount Daedun and I did some research on it of course!

I was pretty excited when I was told that this trip includes a visit to Mount Daedun. Firstly, there is a 40-meters suspension bridge, which is 300-meters above sea level. And yes, I was really anticipating walking on the suspension bridge, which is called the Gureum Bridge!! 😁

Well, the picture below is actually another bridge that stands at an angle of almost 70 degrees and it consists of 127 steps. If I'm not wrong, this bridge is called the Samseon Overpass, which is also called the Cloud Bridge. I'm pretty afraid of heights so I don't think I would dare to climb that bridge HAHAHA. So here's imaginary me standing on that bridge. 🤣

12:30 PM : Getting ready to board the cable car!! EXCITED OF COS 🙈

Enjoy the view while the cable car brings us up to Mount Daedun!!😁

Well, I wasn't feeling cold with just one thick jacket, and my mum insisted me to wear another windbreaker AND a skarf.... 😭

01:10 PM : And then something unexpected happened, it started to snow!! 😁

I wasn't expected to see snow on the mountain and well, fun fact that was the first time I saw snow!!

The snow was quite fine so you cannot really see it very clearly on camera ☹️

01:12 PM : It was then it started to snow more heavily hehe 😛

My parents were very amazed of the snow too as that was also their first time seeing snow yay!!

Long bus ride again, time to have a short nap 😴

04:40 PM : Gonna try rice cake, called tteokbokki in Korean! 😋

04:42 PM : Ordering Walnutcake, and I had trouble speaking in Korean of cos HAHAHAHAHA

05:50 PM : Reached the place where we will be having our dinner!

Dinner of the day : BBQ Pork Galbi (not forgetting the seaweed soup and rice!!)

06:50 PM : Heading to the hotel!

07:38 PM : Arrived at the hotel, Value Hotel Worldwide, where we will be staying for a night again!

I guess most of the time of day 6 was just sleeping on the bus HAHAHA. Kidding, I did not forget that we had explored Mount Daedun!! 😂 To be honest, I felt really fortunate to be able to see snow at Mount Daedun, for the first time in my life. It was definitely a great experience where I got to see the nature - mountains, trees, it's so amazing, love the weather there too hehe 😁 Slowly making our way back to the capital of Korea, Seoul. The last 3 days will be exploring places in Seoul, can't wait to share with you guys the adventures I had in Seoul. See you guys in the next travel blog post!! 👋
