Hey guys, so this will be the final part of my braces journey. I'll merge 7 months in this last part of the series of blog posts because why not? XD Technically, the condition of my teeth is the same for the 7 months because my dentist said that he needs to stabalise my teeth before we take off the braces. So I won't be giving detailed descriptions of the months yeah!! ^^
Anyways, if you're new to this blog post, I've a series of blog posts of the progress of my teeth for the past 2.8 years (yes, since 2014 HAHAHA WELCOMEEE)
Here are the links to the various parts...
P.S: Let me warn you the first 2-3 parts of the braces journey can be quite disturbing and shocking to you, because that's how my teeth looked like 2.8 years ago HAHAHA
Part 1: http://geraldineyan.blogspot.sg/2014_04_01_archive.html (IF YOU CAN'T TAKE DISTURBING PICTURES, I SUGGEST YOU DON'T VIEW THE FIRST PART. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED AND CAUTIONED)
26th Month
27th Month
Colour: Nude(?) Red
They had a couple of new colours to choose from, so I decided to try out the red one first. Looks pretty good~ mmhmm
28th Month
Colour: Dusty Blue (OMG I REALLY LOVE THIS COLOUR A LOT)
No more power chain for my upper teeth. Technically, there is no colour for my front teeth because it's tied to some wire.
Great news! Taking off in 2-3 months. However, dentist suggested to take off after my O's, because I need to concentrate on my exams first /: Mehh..
-----
29th month
I was too lazy to take pictures of my teeth because it was the same colour (Aqua) and my teeth is the same..?
----

*Bottom teeth*
*Top teeth*
*Whole teeth again*
Idk why was I forehead-palming(?) oooh I came out with a new word!! HAHAHA
Anyways, that comes to the end of my braces journey. ^^ 2.8 years really flew by very fast and I still remember 2.8 years ago, how horrible and ugly my teeth was. HAHAHA XD Looking back at the first part of my braces journey, the pictures of my teeth for the first 4 months, I was indeed really surprised and shocked that my teeth was like that in the past. I still remember how unconfident I was becuase of my teeth, where there is a huge gap between my bunny teeth. Nevertheless, I'm really grateful for my parents for spending money on me to put on braces. I also want to thank my dentist, Dr Lee, for adjusting and changing the position of my teeth. Honestly, I'm really truly satisfied with the results I've acquired! I know it has been really hard trying to adjust my teeth, I'm sorry >< Well, after taking off braces, I've to put on retainers every night, in order to prevent my teeth from shifting here and there XD. Well, honestly, I rather put on braces than put on retainer because my teeth was kind of suffocating when I put it on the first night XD. Well, it's getting better. When I came to collect my retainers, and tried to put it on, it was indeed really tough and difficult. Especially for my bottom teeth, the retainer had touched my gum and it hurts so badly ;-;. After a few tries, my bottom gum was swollen HAHAHA SORRY >< The tough part of retainers is actually taking them off. And oh my.. I really had difficulties trying to take off the retainer at the dentist. The nurse had to help me take it off most of the time in the dentist. But thankfully, I managed to take it off by myself now wew~~
I hope you guys enjoyed my braces journey blog, well it's officially coming to an end and well, my advice to you guys if you are considering putting on braces is that if your teeth is looking perfectly fine, I suggest you to not put on braces. The reason why is because the first day when you put it on, it's going to hurt REALLY REALLY BADLY. (I still remember the pain man HAHAHA) Besides that, for hygiene purposes, you have to floss your teeth EVERYDAY! Yes EVERYDAY! And after taking off your braces, you have to put on retainers, EVERY NIGHT and maybe for the WHOLE DAY too! Yupp, you have to understand the trouble that you have to go through when you put on braces! But I was willing to go through the hassle and trouble of it and like what my parents always say, "you have to pay a price if you want to be beautiful". (Well, not that I'm beautiful, but I want my teeth to be beautiful you know.. HAHA)
Alright, I shall stop here. Take care guys~~

Traiditonal metal wired is best one!
ReplyDeleteTraditional metal wired braces are stainless-steel and are sometimes used in combination with titanium. combo with titanium is added advantage ond
Traditional metal braces are the most common type of braces.
These braces have a metal bracket with elastic (rubber band) ties holding the wire onto the metal brackets.
The second-most common type of braces are self-ligating braces that do not require elastic ties.
Instead, the wire goes through the bracket. Often with this type of braces, treatment time is reduced,
there is less pain on the teeth, and fewer adjustments are required than with traditional braces.
you should get better guidance from the better doctor and choose best dental clinic like royse city dental
