TRIP TO JOHOR BAHRU, MALAYSIA. VISIT 1

FINALLY, I went to Malaysia to relax myself. And shop some stuffs. Because of my dental operation, I can't eat hard stuffs but only food like porridge. Actually, going out supposes to be very relaxing and eat what I want. But, I don't want to risk myself and bite hard stuffs which will hurt my gum, taking a longer time to recover and, not able to put braces before my birthday! ):

Usually, my parents' friend will organize this kind of event because he kinds of knows Malaysia VERY WELL. Yes, like he knows everywhere that sells good food. Hence, every time we go Malaysia,  we always have good food to try out!

We had to wake up early in the morning about 6am. Usually, the time when it is school time. But holidays I usually wake up later, not used to waking up early because I'm lazy.. XDXD

Had breakfast at home to fill my stomach a little.

When we reached Malaysia, I ate a whole bowl of fish balls. Just fish balls, no noodles. But to be honest, I love them! Tastes delicious~

After that, we went to the wet market to buy fish. My mum went to buy lots of fish, but I told her that a car can only have a maximum of 5kg of fish. Then she was like "HUH?! Woah, then must below 5kg safer." HAHA.. But we brought some seafood to a restaurant where it cooks the food that we have. All kinds of flavour. Crispy.. Steamed.. I can't think of any now!! >.<

I secretly took this photo of the fish monger, I used the timer of the phone and pretended to stratch off something. But I failed a few times, this one is the best I can. The failed photos is either half her face, her body, or not even herself. HAHA.. Poor cameragirl I am yeah...

I'm just scared she will be angry and be like "WHY TAKE PHOTO OF ME?!" in Chinese. Picture of her cutting the big fish into pieces. My mum bought 2 big fishes for about 250RM+

But my friend's aunt bought more fishes but bought it even cheaper than my mum's. OMG.. Unbelievable. Shouldn't have bought from this shop. Some more pictures coming down here!

Ate LUNCH, with all seafood, vegetables, rice. I didn't managed to take any pictures of the dishes, because I'm too hungry and busy to take pictures of them! Hahaha... I love food A LOT!
Delicious~ Ooishi~ The journey to the market to the restaurant was very long, close to one hour! Johor is like 10 times bigger than Singapore! OMG.. So like one hour is like going from Bedok to Jurong about 2 times? Then we went SHOPPING~  MY FAVOURITE THING OF THE DAY

We went to Sumtera Mall. And i shopped for CLOTHES. Because they are like so CHEAP!!! OMG.. I'm excited whenever there is floral stuffs. Especially the floral shorts, but I didn't managed to buy it because the cutting is not nice and there is lots of strings. One more thing, it can't be tried on or exchanged! But it's like 10RM!!! For a floral short man!!

There are also crazy sale of clothes, but sadly, I didn't shop finish! )):

HERE'S THE CLOTHINGS I BOUGHT! :DDD
I'm so in love with the clothings!! OMG...

So the smiley face shirt, there are different colours. I chose the yellow colour because it looks like "sunshine" girl theme. But I got one pink colour but different design. The cute symbol is like soooo nice!! What attracted me was the mustache. LOL. My mum asked me lots of times if I really wanted this shirt, I think she doesn't really like it. HAHAH...

Oooo.. The floral dress, I asked my dad about this dress. You know what worried him? He was afraid if I wear this dress, I'll look very old like an auntie. LOL. But when I got home and I wore it, he told me not bad at all! ^^ I'm really happy to hear that though~

Next, the grey shirt. I want to use this as my jacket for my trip
to GenTing. The caption of the shirt is "Run Away" and I really liked it a lot! It has the colour white, but I scare later got fungus then cannot wear already! So I chose grey. Nice right? TEHEHE.

Finally, the blue shorts. I love it a lot. At first, I wasn't really very observant. I didn't know there was dirt at the bottom of the pants. But after purchasing the shorts when I wanted to try it in the toilet. I found out there was dirt, so I told my mum about it. Thank goodness, I was able to change the shorts. Pheww.. Haha.. Guess how much it was for all the clothings?

115RM!! Which is about $46SGD!! I got 2 5RM voucher somemore!! Woohooo~~

I'm like so HAPPY!!!!

Went back to massage to wait for the organizer. And we got mango pudding and ginger drink(which I don't like it.. Hate the smell)

Mum, is ginger so nice to drink?

Mango pudding!!

My OOTD for that day. Mum photobomb her shoes. HAHA.. Since when she knows how to do this? (:

Some other pictures coming up~
All greeny!
Looks like last time kampong right?

Some other photos I took at the pet shop

Chicks, ducks and cats. Haha. I want to own a pet, but my mum is scared of the pet's fur. And my dad told me that keeping a pet might be a very tiring thing. LOL.. I guess so. But I never had a pet before. Neither a fish nor a hamster!

Anyways, more blogs will be posted. Stay tune~

MY DENTAL EXPERIENCE AT KHOO TECK PUAT HOSPITAL

How the hospital looks like!

Hey. So this is my first post on my blog! Well, recently, I did my dental operation. So I guess it would be great to share with you my experience!

Let's start from the beginning when I went to my private dentist for consultation. Well, I was kind of excited. So, I did all X-ray of my teeth. What upset me was that, I have to go for a dental operation. That moment, I was really really terrified, because I did not have an operation done before..YES, in my entire life!

I have to pluck out 2 wisdom teeth and 1 tooth that is either UNDERNEATH or ABOVE my two MAIN TEETH. Yes, MAINN!! (I know it sounds complicated, hahaha) Those 3 I have to do an operation by drilling for the lower wisdom teeth and "cutting" the tooth which is neither underneath or above my main teeth. Well, for the "cutting" one, is not really like "cutting" but in Chinese, we call it “开刀".(P.S: My Chinese is better than my English)

Well, in together I have to pluck out 5 teeth. So what is the surgeon doing to my other 2 teeth? Well, they are "normal" teeth which are not hidden. Hence, it is just normal extraction.

Okay, let's move on to my visit to the dental hospital that I went to do my operation.                       KHOO TECK PUAT HOSPITAL. I'm very happy with the way they served me, let me tell you in just a bit. Firstly, I went for another dental consultation with my surgeon                             Dr Tay Pek Lian Sylvia. I didn't know that she had good comments by her patients. So, I guess I was lucky to have her as my surgeon (I heard from one lady who did her operation of her wisdom teeth before me.) After selecting my date of operation, which was 5 November 2013. I kind of liked the date because I'm plucking out 5 teeth so it's 5 November 2013. Haha.

But Dr Tay only had dental operation on Tuesdays. But sadly, I can't book in the morning because it is only for those who had major operation. Actually, I thought mine was major though because of the number of teeth I have to pluck(At the same time, I was relieved that mine was minor. Funny me)

Time passed very fast. 1 more week left... 3 more days... And it's tomorrow! Okay, that was a flashback. The nurse called my mum saying that I can't have food and drink after 12 midnight. Wow, this is my first time not having food and water for like... more than half a day? Yeah, but I succeed! *Weeee...YAYY* But to be honest, when I woke up, my stomach kind of growled (maybe because the food is digesting slowly) But in the middle, I kind of had difficulties controlling it. So I went to sleep. I really admire (Chinese we call it: 佩服. Not the meaning of liking someone) my Malay friends who fast before their Hari Raya. They can even have no food and drinks for about more than half a day without like sleeping, but just doing their daily basis.

I reached the hospital kind of early, about 12.30pm I guess? Well, because we came too early, we have to wait about like an hour after my time of operation which is 2.30pm. I wasn't that nervous when I got into the operating theater. I was trembling.. shaking.. My whole body was like shaking. What's the most painful was the needle poking into my vein. Oh my gosh, it's like pain but endurable. The anaesthetist "bit" my vein and rub something onto my vein. I thought they already put the needle inside. Turns out that he was just waking my veins up. The needle poke through my skin. Ouch.. It was painful! (But just a few seconds)

The surgeon gave me a General Anaesthesia which they put me in a deep sleep while they operate my teeth. I fell asleep in a few minutes when they poked the needle through and gave me a mask for me to breathe in the air into my nose. I really did not feel anything. But I kind of woke up after my operation. It wasn't that pain but just numb on my cheeks and mouth. I can't feel any single thing. It was kind of tiring though. Enduring the pain and stuffs like that. But now, at least it didn't feel numb. Just my teeth, I have to open my mouth. I can't close it. My jaws hurt... But overall, the nurses were very friendly. And even help me to wipe my tears using tissue. Yeah, I kind of cried when I woke up. LOL.

Last and for most, I would like to thank my Surgeon, Dr Tay Pek Lian Sylvia for helping me operate my teeth and making it such a successful operation. And as well as my Anaesthetist(I guess he's a Doctor?) Dr Bin Wern Hsien. Thank you all that served me welly, I'm very proud that I choosed the right Dental Hospital to operate my teeth. THANK YOU!! <3
