MARINA BAY CARNIVAL

Hello everyone, I can't believe March is coming to an end already, and yup 1/4 of the year is gonna be gone soon.... 😱 Okay this means, I'm starting a new semester soon again... 😭

Anyways, I'm really excited to share with you guys about this blog post, where I went to the Marina Bay Carnival. I'm sure you've heard about it and might have already visited it once or many many times. 😂 Well, it was my first time going there and I was indeed extremely excited to go there HAHAHAHA. 

There were a lot of carnival games to play and carnival rides to ride on, not forgetting a variety of food stalls that they have. We spent most of the money on the rides and partially on food as well as the carnival games, yeah so let's move on to the photos shall we? 🌚

The first part of the carnival 😍

It was the rainy season during that period and it rained before we reached there,

which explains the puddle of water on the floor 😂

It's really crowded even though it was during the weekdays.

The first ride we sat was the Mach 5, known for being one of the scariest rides. This ride is $14 per ride and it turns 360 degrees, aka upside down. Honestly, I wasn't really prepared to sit that scary ride, but because of the other 3 who were really daring and adventurous, they wanted to sit that ride first so.... 🙃 (especially Tessa who was super duper excited while we were queuing for about 20 minutes)

Before that, we were like tying our shoe laces very tightly so that our shoe won't fly out, i still remember very clearly HAHAHAA DAMN FUNNY.

Okay, overall I wasn't that scared, surprisingly. Initially, I was quite scared because I was afraid I'll fall out of my seat (cons of being afraid of heights) but the dropping feeling wasn't that intense as I felt when I sat the Universal Studio's Battlestar Galactica Rides. I just scream for no reason because I felt like it lur 😂 The only scary part was that they left you dangling at the top, you'll understand when you sit that I guess HAHAHA.

So Rachel decided to try this "Roll a Ball" game and for the first ball, she scored 100 but then she didn't win the pug soft toy because of the other 2 balls HAHAHA

Second but last ride the Star Flyer, which is $10 per ride. It isn't as thrilling as the Mach 5, I must say. However, it's pretty scary at the same time because it's spinning round and round at a very fast speed. Well, I brought my phone up thinking it won't be that scary and I was wrong HAHAHA. I was holding my phone very tightly for the first half of the ride. After that, I got used to the speed of the ride and started to video again. The only fear you will have is that if you may drop your phone during the ride. 😂

It was a good catch-up with them and I definitely had a great time at the Marina Bay Carnival! Even though we did not sit a lot of the rides available, I enjoyed the 2 rides while it lasted hehe and I really enjoyed the company I had, thankful much 😊 It's been long since I last met them and it really felt great meeting them again 😭

CHRISTMAS WONDERLAND

Hihi everybody, so I'm back with another blog post!! ^o^ I know the previous blog post was about me visiting Gardens by the Bay, but this is different from the previous!! I can't believe I went out for 3-4 consecutive days during the last week of 2017 (even though that 2 week vacation isn't really one), but I guess we need to strike a balance between work and leisure time right? XD

ANYWAYS, so instead of visiting the 2 exhibitions at Gardens by the Bay (aka the Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest), we went for the Christmas Wonderland! Well, we managed to go for that because it was the last day of that event (yeah 26/12 ._. HAHAHA). Went to play the carnival games as well as the OCBC Skyway to check out the night view on top!! Okiee, shall move on to the pictures HEHEHE

Reached Gardens by the Bay around the late afternoon because it opens at 4pm!!

Went to walk around first and there were various food stalls to choose from

and the view is so beautiful!!! *.*

So we played various carnival games and sadly we didn't win any because they were so difficulty to play T.T

However, I managed to win one husky for Xiao Hui who wanted it so badly.

So I played on behalf of her and managed to win one for her WOOO HAHAHAHA

(was super stressed and pressured at that point of time tbh XD)

FOOD TIME and look it's a spork (HOW CUTEEE!!)

So tried out these drinks from the Drink Factory Inc and IT WAS SOOO GOOD!!

Okay so after finishing up the food, here's a couple of random pictures of me with the 2 bottles and the Christmas Wonderland lighting as the background HAHAHA

Bought the tickets to the OCBC Skyway, time to queue up (it took about 40-50 minutes because the queue was super long T.T)

After 40-50 minutes of waiting time, we're finally on top of the OCBC Skyway.

The view was soo breath-taking and it's so windy on top!! *.*

The lighting is pretty bad, but such a beautiful scenery :DD

And at the point of time when we were at the top of the OCBC Skyway, which was around 7.45pm, the Supertrees were lit up with colourful lighting and there were a variety of Christmas songs being played, it was indeed very spectacular and amazing!! (":

It was my first time going for the Christmas Wonderland and I must say I really had a great time playing the carnival games (even though we lost most of it), trying out a variety of food that I've never tried before and of course, going up the OCBC Skywalk to admire the scenery and the Christmas lightings. 

To be honest, I was initially scared when I reached the top of the OCBC Skway because of the height and also my fear of heights. But it was definitely worth it!! I would really want to go to the OCBC Skyway again HAHAHA, IT'S SO FUN AND 15 MINUTES ISN'T ENOUGH. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed the short blog about my first visit to Christmas Wonderland and take care~
