CHINESE NEW YEAR 2015

Hey readers, Chinese New Year has past 1 month ago.. I decided to do this blog post because I don't want to late about this occasion.

This year's CNY is quite dull and boring because my cousins (Cousin Wei and Cousin Mei) went to Malaysia to visit their maternal family members. Well, so there isn't many selfies and photos.

CHINESE NEW YEAR EVE

Okay back to this year's CNY. In my school, my CCA (Chinese Orchestra) performed, there were not a lot of selfies, because I was busy performing two items for my school's CNY celebration.

Oh oh, I had a performance with the finalists of a singing competition. (I know what you guys are thinking.. I could sing?! Well, I just participated to overcome my stage fright.) I had a duet with Nicole for the 2 rounds of competition. It was really fun and memorable singing with her.

Well, I was nervous for both performances (I don't know why, but I do not usually get nervous when I perform in my CCA). My legs were kind of shaky when I stepped onto the stage, first time experience being on the stage- SCARY.

Hahaha thanks to Nicole, we managed to cling 3rd position, even though I screwed up playing the piano and singing at the same time. :X

CHINESE NEW YEAR DAY 1

Cousin prepared this dish where there is a variety of broccolis. There's 5 types of broccoli!! I find it so interesting and cool, I wonder how did she manage to find so many broccolis.. :O

Oh ya, it's really delicious! Thumbs up!

To be honest, I find his blog post is quite short and dry. Without selfies with my annoying (but cute) cousins, I realise how boring CNY is.. ):

I hope that your week has been going well. I'm still trying to cope with my school work. I did not had the time to do extra practices on my assignment books. Homework piling up like madd.. >.<

Year 3 is really difficult.. >: Feeling so stressed up. Urghh..

MY "BRACES" JOURNEY PART 3

Hello readers, I've been waiting so excitedly for 4 months to post the third part of my "braces" journey. The reasons why I'm so excited..

Firstly, I'm finally not choosing just one colour for the brackets. I took the courage to do two colours alternately. And I kind of like the colour too! Hehehe

Secondly, my teeth is improving dramatically and I'm very satisfied with the results even though I'm still have 1 and half year to go for my braces.

So here are the 9th month to 12 month results~

9th month..

The dentist concentrated mainly on my bottom crooked tooth. For the upper teeth that is slanted, he continues to tighten and "pull" it towards my 2 main teeth. What I'm most excited is the colour that I had choosen! ^^

COLOUR: PINK AND LIGHT BLUE

I really love the colour combination of pink and blue. For some reason, I'm more into light colours than dark colours. From past experience, I feel that dark colours for the brackets makes your teeth look like you have dirt in it. However, did you know that it makes your teeth white? :O

10th month..

For that month, I already feel that my teeth is already perfect enough. I mean from the first picture, it looks like both my upper and lower teeth are straightened. ACTUALLY, pictures can deceive you so well. My lower crooked teeth is not straightened yet. :>

If I'm not wrong, the doctor also tightened my slanted upper tooth because it's not that straight to him yet.. Hahaha. Same procedure for the past few months too! (:

Got another colour combination.

COLOUR: BLUE AND WHITE

Since December was the Christmas season, decided to go into the Christmas Winter theme. Hahaha.. First time tried white colour and it's really so cool~~

However, sadly, the colour (white) kind of faded into yellowish white. Maybe because of my toothpaste or the food I eat?

I don't want to get red and green colour combination first. Because I'm not ready for those (new) colours yet. I'm not sure how it will turn out though. So I think best try out one new colour first. Hahaha (:

May I ask if Red or Green colours are nice? ^^

11th month...

The bottom crooked tooth is almost straightened!! While my straightened(?) upper teeth is already straight yay! Doctor say it's not completely straight yet. mmmhmm.. ._.

The dentist went to put a power chain for my upper teeth at the back (maybe because he wants to put the teeth together)

Colour: New Blue

I have no idea how did this happen. But after 2 weeks of putting this "new blue" colour, it became.. a greyish colour.. Yupp, it faded like the white colour that I put on the 10th month..

I asked the dentist, he said that it's maybe the food that you consumed. Hmm... Maybe light colours just fades easily. XD

12 month...

Hooray for 12 months of putting braces!! Well this month was quite painful, because it is during the Chinese New Year Season (which means I can't even munch on food that are soft, sadly)

But you know, if you want your teeth to be beautiful, you have to endure this kind of stuff.. That's what you have to endure <:

Back to the progress of the 12 month.. Well, as usual, the 2 teeth.. 

The dentist told me that next month (13th month) is very important because I'm putting rubber bands to make my upper and bottom teeth. Ended up not putting rubber bands because the doctor said the upper and bottom teeth still not straightened yet hmm... Look forward to my part 4 "braces" journey.

Colour: Turquoise (I LOVE IT!)

I know what you guys are thinking "Is this even turqoise?!" I have no idea too, turquoise should be a colour of greenish and blue colour. But this colour is just... blue..

Anyways, this colour is like so beautiful.

I actually wanted to take red colour to match the CNY season but I was STILL not ready to put that colour. Does it make my teeth look like I have blood stain on my teeth? Omg.. I just worry too much..

Anyways, this is part 3 of my 4 months progess. To be honest, I already feel that my teeth is very beautiful. I mean, my 2 front teeth have no gaps. The 2 other teeth (the upper and bottom teeth) is not really slanted and crooked anymore.

The dentist is planning to put rubber bands for my teeth. I am so not ready when I have rubber bands on my teeth. May I ask people who have/are putting braces: Are putting rubber bands painful? >.<

Can't imagine myself with rubber bands on my teeth and the feeling of pain when putting it on.

Anyways, see you guys in my part 4 of my braces journey. Looking forward for part 4!! Anticipating my teeth with rubber bands on it. Happy or sad? I don't know
